Physiotherapist - Experienced Grade 1 or 2

Macedon Ranges Health (MRH) is an award winning, community based not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the provision of health, community, welfare and aged care services to the communities of Macedon Ranges Shire and surrounding districts.

We offer a wide range of services for the local community and work with a range of partners to deliver high quality health services at Macedon Ranges Health locations. We have over 60 years of experience supporting clients across the Macedon Ranges region.

 

The Position

An exciting opportunity has been created for Physiotherapists to join our highly experienced Physiotherapy team. This role has flexible remuneration arrangements reflective of experience that can be explored with candidates upon enquiry. 

  • Assess, diagnose, plan and execute physiotherapy treatments
  • Initiate, plan, implement and evaluate groups and/or programs for clients as appropriate
  • Liaise with other service providers in relation to individual client and group needs
  • Work within NDIS and reablement frameworks
  • Work with and offer clinical supervision to Allied Health Assistants as appropriate

 

To be successful in this role, applicants must:

  • Hold a recognised qualification in Physiotherapy (AHPRA Registration) 
  • Be eligible for membership with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
  • Be able to obtain a Medicare provider number
  • Have the ability to work in a team environment,
  • Have excellent presentation and customer/client focused skills
  • Eligible to obtain a Current Police Check, Working With Children check and Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check
  • Experience in aged care, sports medicine, children's health (peadiatrics), and women's health not essential, but would be desirable.
