Key responsibilities of the role:

• Assessment, planning, provision and evaluation of podiatric treatment and care for clients.
• Providing podiatric services for clients that include consultation, health education, therapeutic management and health promotion.
• Assuming responsibility for the Foot Care Program, including supervision of the Allied Health Assistants.
• Oversee the preparation, review and maintenance of instruments and report any process issues.
• Ongoing review of the Podiatry program including monitoring of the waiting list in conjunction with the Clinical Services Manager – Community Health.
• Liaison with other service providers to assist best outcomes for clients and referring on as appropriate.

To be successful in this role, applicants will have:

• Bachelor or Master of Podiatry
• Current registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Current National Police Clearance
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence
• 2023 Influenza vaccination certificate
• First Aid and CPR currency
• Experience working in community or public health podiatry services (desirable but not essential).
• Demonstrated ability to work innovatively and independently.

• Contributes to delivery of services within regional budget and working within financial delegations

• Ensure staff are supported in their role

• Attention to detail is a must when providing consistent, efficient and accurate scheduling
• Experience in rostering/ Scheduling
• High level of computer literacy, preferred

We’re looking for a Palliative Care Specialist to enhance services and outcomes for individuals receiving palliative care across Benetas, including Retirement Living, Residential Services, and Community Health and Care (CHC). This role involves collaboration across various operational units, working closely with the Quality, Risk & Safeguarding (QRS) and Learning and Development (L&D) teams.

This will also develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to elevate the organisation's proficiency in palliative care. This is a permanent, part-time role working on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

A typical day will have you:

• Design and implement a Benetas Model of Palliative Care (BMPC) that improves Quality of Life outcomes
• Develop/update Policies and Procedures as they relate to Palliative and End-of-Life care and ensure they are effectively communicated to all employees
• Work closely with senior management team, Quality, Risk & Safeguarding, and L&D teams to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to elevate the organisation's proficiency in palliative care
• Ensure compliance to regulatory standards and conduct audits of palliative care
• Work with the Pastoral Care Team to develop a program, provide tools and evaluate the effectiveness of their input on the palliative and end of life experience
• Develop a brief and communication collaterals to implement Palliative Friendly environments in all Benetas Residential homes
• Work with CHC to develop palliative care specific packages for people requiring this support in their own homes and within Respite Centres
• Identify services and develop fee-for-service financial modelling for private clients
• Make recommendations for innovative palliative services and work with the Finance team to assess the financially sustainability of such services
• Build customer relationships with external agencies referring Palliative / end of life clients and residents to Benetas
• Travel is required to Benetas sites

We’re looking for someone with:

• Registered Nurse or Allied Health Practitioner (essential)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the delivery of palliative care as a practitioner (essential)
• Tertiary qualifications in Palliative Care, or equivalent, with significant experience in Palliative Care (essential)

Working in different homes every day, your ability to quickly analyse your client’s needs and work with them in a respectful way is vital. • Undertaking nursing duties for the client to maximise the client’s wellbeing and healthcare at home

• Overseeing the administration of day-to-day tasks as relates to the provision of clinical care to achieve best resident outcomes and undertaking clinical monitoring of residents and escalating changes as required

We’re looking for 2 Accounts Receivable Officers to join our Finance team, one supporting our Home Care business and the other supporting our Residential Aged Care business. . The Accounts Receivable Officer facilitates the preparation of timely and accurate reconciliations with Services Australia and the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA), liaises with Residential Services and Community Health and Care to correct any variances between claims and payments received, update client funding related records and account for monthly CDC entries.

A typical day will have you:

• Ensuring Residential Services and Home Care Services maximise and recognise all available income from the government in a timely manner
• Processing Direct Debits on our financial systems
• Reconciliation and correction of all variances identified for both residential services and home care with Services Australia and DVA
• Reconciliation of all RACS id’s expected funding to Medicare Payment Statements and follow-up of variances
• Managing the Review and accounting of the CDC register for Homecare on a monthly basis
• Addressing and liaising with clients on their accounts queries
• Undertaking other finance tasks as required

We’re looking for someone with:

• A tertiary qualification in accounting, commerce, or business studies or a related field (Desirable)
• Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable / Reconciliations

• Managing and leading a diverse team of employees and volunteers to provide an exemplary level of care and service to our residents
• Responding quickly and effectively to issues including Human Resource, client complaints and serious incidents
• Facilitating the implementation and effective use of quality and risk management information systems
• Ensuring employees are aware of their responsibilities around incident management and reporting, including compulsory reporting obligations
• Maintaining financial performance targets including occupancy levels, ANACC management and budget outcomes

• Approval of travel milage claimed by staff, (completed through rostering system)
• Assist with on-boarding of support workers

Residential Aged Care

Our residential aged care homes are just that, a home for our residents.  You’ll work as part of a team of people and help with showering, dressing, simple cleaning, linen service, and meals. But you’ll also be there to spend time with residents, share stories, connect and show kindness and empathy.

We have regular part-time morning, afternoon, and night shifts. If it suits you, weekends too. It can be a great learning environment if you’re new to the industry as you’ll be exposed to experienced carers and nursing staff.

We’re looking for an experienced After Hours Manager to work three night duty shifts a week.  

As a Nurse in a residential home, a typical day will see you:

• Providing excellent, resident-focused care in relation to specialised nursing needs, such as management of diabetes, wounds, infections, pain and medications
• Maintaining documentation; completing resident assessments, incident investigation and related care documents in accordance with policies, and procedures and meeting accreditation standards
• Overseeing the administration of day-to-day tasks as relates to the provision of clinical care to achieve best resident outcomes and undertaking clinical monitoring of residents and escalating changes as required
• Applying sound decision-making skills to make effective use of all resources
• Providing employees with clear direction and guidance and actively promoting positive working relationships.

• Friday 0900-1700

A typical day will have you:

• Perform reception / switchboard and administrative duties to meet customer needs
• Provide front of house customer service to the residents, families, visitors and staff
• Conduct orientation tours of the site when delegated by the Admin Leader or Manager
• Maintain office inventory and records
• Support in site recruitment activities including advertising vacancies, scheduling interviews, and assisting with employee onboarding and orientation
• Submit resident admission, discharge and variation information
• Create genuine connections and empathise with residents, families and staff
• Work on weekends as needed

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous experience in administrative support or customer service
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and various computer systems  
• A high attention to detail, accuracy and effective time management skills 
• A friendly and positive attitude and the ability to demonstrate client-focused behaviour
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in an Aged Care environment (desirable)
• Experience in rosters and accounts and aged care systems (highly regarded)
• Certificate IV in Business Administration or a similar qualification (desirable)

We're looking for Permanent Part Time  / Casual Care Workers in Traralgon, Churchill, Moe, Morwell, Trafalgar, Warragul, Drouin. At this point, we are looking those who have a Certificate III in Individul Support/Aged Care or Certificate IV in Disability or unqualifed.

Supporting our elders in their homes means you are one–on–one with clients working individually. You could drop in to help with personal care or domestic duties in the morning or evening, or keep clients connected to their community through activities they love, like walking, gardening, going out for a coffee or lunch, and transporting them to appointments. Generally you will visit 2-4 client per day, approximately 1-3 hours per visit.

Whether you have no experience but have the passion, or are an experienced carer or recently graduated - We’re offering you a meaningful career and we’ll support you to succeed. It’s never too early or too late for a career in care.
